I still read the forum but don't post very often. However on reading this I felt compelled to log in to add my condolences. I never met the man but on here he always made me smile. Certainly the TEF is poorer for his passing.

Well, what a fucking end to a fucking miserable day. 53 years old for fuck's sake. Thing is, when you're one of 10/20k supporters at a town match, you're one of 'us'. We don't know each other (probably), but there's still the feeling that we're all in it for the long haul.
And we have good fun, win or lose, and we see the future (Paolo), and the past (Hart) and you know what? It doesn't really matter. We're STFC. Fuck the FA, the FL, Jed, the fucking money men that mean the PL is a closed shop. I'd rather we were in the Southern League and had 4k supporters for a supporter-run club.
I've drunk a couple of bottles of wine...bollocks to football, it's only the supporters that matter.
