Had a disgusting 9% Welsh cider called Black Dragon recently. I hate all ciders though.

Thunderbirds, now that stuff got many a greendown teen kid plastered. There was red and blue if I remember rightly. Friday nights at Westlea park or the mud hills in toothill would see plenty wrecked on that stuff. Mad dog 20 20 was another drink for the kids. Scots Mac too.

Thunderbird + Mad dog 1, Batch 0 (1992)...

Whilst we are talking about general chunder inducers, never been able to take vodka myself. At all. Recently I found out this exists, can't see it helping!

Maximator, never seen it in this country but very popular on the continent though only ever sold in train station convenience stores.  11.6% from what is left of my memory

Not strictly in the same category, but Gold Label barley wine must be worth a mention.  You could consume it with a knife and fork, awful stuff.

My late old mum was known to quofe a few of those in her time, mind you so was her side of the family i seem to remember back in the old days when we used to go back to the smoke. Fuck me some of those pubs they used to go in were rough and we'd have to hang outside with a bottle of pop and and a packet of crisps.

For thise of you who remember Litlewoods had a beer, wine and tobbaconists shop in the old store. I used to get a fourpack of Bavaria 8.6% lager/beer. You had to really chill the stuff to drink it was £2.99 0r £3.99 back in the early 90's.
