I got drunk and had a dominos pizza.
When I was a student we were lucky to get a "pizza" made from the end crust of a sliced loaf, a slice of cheese and some tomato purée put under the grill.

Do they still have the 'Mutley Plain Special'?

Students must be minted these days...in my time you'd only spend that sort of money on drugs.

Those things mess up your insides. I think its the grease, but I never felt right the day after eating a meaty domino's. The words sluice gate were used often in my old house to describe their effect. Soon as I switched to ham and pineapple, not a problem. Anyway, back on topic...

Fruit on pizza = no no.
The more meat (and cheese), the better.

I know I know but I acquired a taste for it in my childhood. Blame my parents. Also, to be pedantic, isn't tomato a fruit? (I KNOW someone is going to get EVEN more pedantic and go 'Actually a tomato is a cytoplastismricle, not a fruit')

Disagree with that when it comes to pineapple. Fish on Pizza, in particular anchovies, people who order that should be made to live in France..

I get the same, it's the sausage I think - rancid. Get any other pizza with a good amount of meat on it and you don't get the same issue.

I find Papa Johns pretty rank. Dominos the same too, except for
THE TEXAS BBQ
It's a magical taste sensation. Think of other classics like duck, hoi sin and pancakes, or the majestic combination of flavours in a roast dinner, or english breakfast. Dominos Texas BBQ is up there with the best.

Papa Johns is wank. Dominos varies massively from place to place, the one in Cov (open 24 hours a day, poppickers) was greasy and dismal whereas the one that opened in Kenilworth was about a million times better.
although this may be the difference between eating pizza at home in the evening and eating a pizza at work at 3am

Not that I know of, but living a good 5 minutes from Mutley Plain it sounds like something that should be in my life.

I've always found Pappa Johns massively superior to Dominos, better bases fresher topping. But they are expensive without an offer, and I'm the only person in the entire world that likes their special garlic sauce.

I only had Papa Johns in India. Perhaps not the best place to sample their pizzas!
Loads of really good Italian restaurants in Luxembourg which do much better pizzas than the generic chain muck being discussed here.
