GPRS and Bluetooth- are they dependant on one another (ie both handsets need both of them) to share pics etc

if you want to share by bluetooth both users will need bluetooth. gprs is a different thing all together

gprs has nothing to do with bluetooth.  GPRS is the network bluetooth uses radiowaves to conect losers
