Speaking of which in the interest of public safety if anyone sees a grey-haired man with a crutch and a Swindon scarf stumbling about the streets of Leyton that afternoon please point him in the direction of the Birkbeck Tavern.

Right back from SSILA days (you might need to ask one of the silverbacks what that was) and a memorable Burns bender weekend in Nottingham. Glad he hasn't let his health problems compromise his social instincts. Almost makes me want to come back to games...

I don't know why I never did this before...but I've just placed you.  The Nottingham weekend was superb.  Shame about the football.

I'm going - first game in months! Feel like I've missed out on a lot since our up-turn in form!

I was glad when this was called off as I couldn't make the original game  Smiley

Looking forward to this one after the Trannie game was called off.  Pint

It will probably be postponed again, depending on how many injuries they have  Cool

I drive down from Leicester with the former SSILA Secretary as he now lives a  couple of miles away from me.  Jacko is indeed a phenomenon.   Smiley

Is that Mauler? Isn't he a fully signed-up Grimsby majorette these days?

Chance this will be off again I reckon.

Lots if rain forecast between Sunday and Tuesday and we know it doesn't take much for them to call a game off...
