And don't come back until you've achieved world peace.

I'd be more surprised if he stayed.

If he Sir William manages to sell to new owners with the best interests of the club at heart (as well as the best deal for Andrew Black) then he will have done his job VERY well.

An odd one, not quite sure what the point of him is as there's no evidence he's done anything since he's been here.

Won't miss him, or his hat.

Absolutely no doubt of this.

I think it’s also pretty clear that Wray stepped down because Black wanted to sell and Wray didn’t. Well, that’s my assessment of it reading between the lines.

No doubt about this at all.  This Chairman was always going to be more 'Interim' than the last one (who ironically, had the title 'Interim Chairman', but wasn't really.)  We just didn't know this at the time of the appointment.

No surprise at all that the fans have not warmed to SWP.  We were never meant to.  As Paolo69 says above, his brief is to complete a successful sale - and he'll deserve our thanks if he gets it right.

What with all the back and forth in the media, wouldn't surprise me if Wray and Black had a good old falling out (to the tune of 'Stop saying the manager can spend all my money' 'No!'), so with Black leaving, could expect to see Wray back, particularly as he's at most home games.

This is not surprising news though. Patey was brought in to peacekeep and sell the place. Won't miss his face, but hopefully he can go down as a good guy in the annals of Swindon history by selling us to the right group.
