Garth Crooks - as if an alien conciousness had been put in a Midlands man's body and asked to analyse a sport it doesn't fully understand but has observed and nonetheless formed strong opinions about
Garth Crooks takes himself so seriously it's hilarious. I can't watch him without laughing.

I love listening to Graham Taylor adding new words to the English language.

I always thought Big Ron was a very good co-commentator/pundit when he was with ITV before he got sacked about 10 years ago.

Gary Neville for me is the best pundit at the minute, his in-depth analysis and insight into football is fascinating.

Niall Quinn is the only co-commentator who actually speaks more than the actual commentator during games  Cheesy

I love listening to Graham Taylor adding new words to the English language.

And David Pleat trying to pronounce names. Not being able to pronounce 'Henry' correctly was beyond embarrassing.

Also it's hard to explain but he reminds me of a Quentin Blake drawing.

I know I'm in the minority, but I like Lawrenson when he does live match commentary. They always pair him up with a proper commentator and he spends the entire match cracking really bad jokes and stating the obvious, with little to no comment on the football. He's so bad that he's good.

Indeed...he is carrying on nicely where Dean Windass left off although he is slightly less inept than Windass (that's not saying much).
Deano was a godsend. He should present Soccer Saturday when Jeff moves on.

I don't watch much Premier League football, preferring La Liga....they had a presenter on there Mark Robson who was very good, but he got sacked by Sky for being opinionated, they wanted a talking head so shifted Scott Minto, from match summary. Minto is a sort of cross between Lineker and Redknapp, a bird could take him home to meet the parents, and he'll never upset anybody.

Doyen of Sky's Spanish pundits is Ossie Ardlies....Ossie these days has a certain professorial air, like he should be running a Department of Football Studies at some venerable university.

As for Shearer et al....probably see MotD once a year, and it reminds me why I stopped watching.

Guillem Balague is great.

Yep, I like him as well...mainly because he supports Espanyol.
