Andrew Fitton would welcome Swindon Town return
     


Former chairman Andrew Fitton says he would consider returning to up-for-sale Swindon Town when new owners are found.

This reads very much as the second salvo in the manouvering between the shareholders in the press, we had Wray last week and now Fitton.

I would be happy to have him back, whatever happens with this he will always be the man who saved by club (I know with assistance of others money), but he seemed to be the one who pulled it together and dealt with dodgy Diamandis - which deserves a medal in itself.

Always kind of hoped he would get some sort of honorary role.
