Hi everyone, longtime reader first time post starter.
Can anyone recommend a nice pub that does good food in the swindon area, I don't mind driving a bit further for the right place.  Please don't recommend 'The Three Crowns' in Brinkworth (been there to many times over the years). Looking forward to trying out the suggestions, cheers for your time.

You also missed the word missed...there might be a word for such an oversight, Neville might know.

The weigbridge is very nice by the outlet  shop. More of a restaurant than a pub but never had a bad meal yet.

For good pub grub try the Jovial on st andrews ridge, went there a few saturdays back and loved it, big portions well cooked. That's if you want pub grub.

If you want a bit of a drive the greyhound at bromham is superb, if a little pricey. Had a very nice rare ribeye there the other week, good pint of 6x on tap too.

Always find the wanborough pubs food a little over rated and over priced. Almost like you're paying extra for a rural setting.

Have you been there recently Dave? They've done a good job on it, upstairs is good too.

Used to go in there after playing for Bromham and it was pretty shit, but not these days.
