They could have saved their cash and gone skiing locally

So is the game in any doubt due to frost?

4D type Question - I have return train tickets bought from Paddington to Swindon. If the game is cancelled, am I able to cancel my train tickets and get a refund?

I can't see there being any chance of the game being on. Up to 10cms of snow forecasted for Fri/Sat, on top of the frost.

I was assuming no snow for now!  Think covers get a bit dicey at -4 .

Which is surely what these sheets are for?

Don't think the sheets will able to protect from 5-10cm of snow.

As for the train tickets, this happened to us last year (Burton game maybe?) We contacted FGW and they said no refunds available. I suppose it is not their fault the game is called off.

Already had to write off train tickets for the Colchester postponement, will be a bit peeved if it happens again.

I think even if the game is on, us coming from London will struggle to get down there. Forecast does not look good.

At least if the trains are cancelled we'd be able to get refunds for the tickets. And if the game's on there's always the car.

The pitch is ok at the moment. It will be checked every morning.

10cm of snow falling on a frost cover would only serve to insulate the pitch anyway wouldn't it

Yes it would, but then you have the issue of 10cm of snow to clear and the safety around the ground.

Hopefully we get it on.

Good news.

Seriously, don't worry about the weather forecast of snow until Thursday night. It'll be in Kent instead by then Wink
