A fair bit of anti-PdC posturing from Jimmy Quim.
Let's hope Paolo stuffs it all up his arse

I wonder if Di Canio even knows who Jimmy Quinn is?

Well Quinn is a tactical genius himself so he must be right.

No reason to dislike Quinn. He's talking to the Bournemouth rag, he's going to be pro-Bournemouth in it.

Very odd set of comments from Quinn. Seems to be confused about whether he's talking about tactics or personality. And the personal comments aimed at PDC do look rather bitter, given that PDC is clearly both a better manager and a better player than he ever was.
That he managed both clubs gives him no more insight in to this game than anyone else. The truth is that he has no more idea than anyone else how this game will play out.

Bit contradictory though.
He says PdC will be off the minute a 'big' club comes in for him yet Eddie Howe was on his toes when the mighty Burnley came calling - only to return with his tail between his legs.
And hasn't he looked at PdC's record before slating his management style?
I'd say Eddie Howe is a decent one trick pony at Bornmuff while PdC will succeed wherever he ends up.
I know it's too early but I fancy a 0-3 tomorrow

In all fairness he did turn down a couple of bigger jobs during his first spell at 'muff. Pompey was one and the time it would have been a significant step up. Like Howe, if he grows the balls to move away from South coast permantally I think he can manage successfully at the top level.

Did he back Howe when we played his Burnley side earlier in the season? That went well Jimbo!
I liked him as a player but some of those comments are unnecessary. If Eddie Howe is Bournemouth through and through then why leave for Burnley as KR correctly pointed out. Paolo's been here 18 months now - only another 6 to go and it will be the same length of time as when Howe first jumped ship.

Seems that Quinn is as well informed as the Oxford and Shrewsbury fans who are constantly mocking our shambles of a club, conveniently ignoring the fact that everything Paolo touches seems to, eventually, turn to gold
