ZOO Predicts:- Champions:Notts Forest Runners-up:Swindon Play-Offs:Brizzle City,Oldham,Brentford,Doncaster Relegated:Blackpool,Southend,Chesterfield,Franchise. Forest have bought well and will bounce back immediately, but there will be no such joy for Gillingham and Rotherham. Swindon, buoyed by the signing of experienced Gareth Whalley, should be good enough to snare an automatic spot, with Brizzle City and Oldham running them close. Ex-Mackem Sean Thornton can be inspirational for Doncaster if he knuckles down. Now im not being an optimist but last time Zoo predicted us to finish in the Play-offs we did just that.

Who does that in Zoo, is it Lovejoy, or does he work with Nuts?
Not bought either for an age.

Lovejoy does the 'Ask Lovejoy' section in the back of Zoo. I never miss a copy.

Yeah, I'm sure the first edition came out last October/November time, when a mate of mine was in hospital.

I know it came out while I was in my last year of uni (play off year), so if they did it would have to have been at some point during that season, rather than at the beginning of it.

"Early in 2004 two weekly mens magazines were launched in the UK ‘Nuts’ and ‘Zoo’ are quite similar and have the same young male target readership. ‘Nuts’ has a stable content and makes relatively easy assumptions about what its readers will like. So there are girls, cars, girls, football, girls who support football teams, comedy, girls whose partners play football, bizarre ... "
Well a little before I imagined but not too far away. Not a hard predicition to say we'd make the play offs that year, we were flying halfway through the season - well doing well at least.
