Didn't play enough and too high wages. Not surprised by this at all.

Looks a good player but you cant ignore the fact that we do not win enough games when he starts.

Depends how much of his wages we're paying as to his "value for money". He's an asset to the squad and i like him but not worth breaking the bank unless he's a nailed on starter (which he hasn't been). Looks a good player but you cant ignore the fact that we do not win enough games when he starts.
Really? I cba to look this up but we did stuff Stevenage when he started centre mid for the first time.

He absolutely ran that game at Stevenage.

If he was that good he would have played more often. It's obvious that PdC will get him in again if finances allow, but the other two are priorities.

More of a luxery to keep than we can afford. I really rated him in the games he played (except at Wembley) but Stevenage showed his quality! If something can be sorted in the summer I'm all for him coming back, but good luck Jonny B!

Yeah, as good as Ferry and Hollands have looked as a pairing (and they've looked excellent) thought the Bostock/Miller combination in that Stevenage game gave as dominant a midfield performance as I've seen this season. He was excellent in the wins at Walsall and against Yeovil just after as well. Looks a good player but you cant ignore the fact that we do not win enough games when he starts.
3 wins, two draws and one defeat in his 6 league starts? Hardly disastrous.

I admire your high standards but: Coventry 2-2 Draw Stevenage 4-0 Win Walsall 2-0 Win Yeovil 4-1 Win Notts C 1-0 Loss (should have won but for finishing/ GK) Doncaster 1-1 (should have been another 5-0) Not that bad a return i'd say and all very good performances except Coventry. I think he's a top class midfielder suited to the division above this and a better natural footballer than Hollands, but the latter's wages will not be as high, his work rate is excellent and he gels with Ferry all good reasons for Hollands being the top priority.

As much as I liked him when he played, he didn't play as frequently as either he or the fans wanted. He may still be young and have time to develop as a player, but with the current state of affairs, I don't think he offered value given his limited game time.

Fantastic player, but the fact he can't tackle for toffee seems to be the biggest downside to his game with the way we play.

Which is why I think he worked so well with Miller at Stevenage, they complemented each other perfectly.

Good player and it seems it might be coming together for him now, I'm sure he'll get another loan at this level no problem. Our midfield is solid as fuck though and if him leaving went someway to securing Hollands then I think it's worked out for the best.
