Oh I agree. He's mad, but he's getting results. I don't want him out. My worry is Patey will lose patience, which could be a disaster and trigger a fan backlash.
Yeah, lots of if, buts and suppositions there.
Speaking of which, have we heard anything from Patey recently?

Nope, but doesn't he only work a few days a month?

Seems to be the big difference with Patey and Wray, Jezza would often address us through the media, Patey has little/nothing to say it seems. The Adver is likely to fish for reaction to Di Canio's latest comments from Patey in the next couple of days.

I just fail to see the purpose of an interview like this. It's the sort of thing you would expect to see when a manager has left a club under a cloud, not when they're still in charge. Utterly pointless and causes unnecessary ructions.

"I HAD THE CHANCE TO LEAVE THIS CLUB"
"But I quite like Swindon as a town and the top bosses are lovely and all the fans are little cherubs"
Maybe?

"Noticed a few comments asking about chairman's views on PDC's recent comments. I have not been able to reach him for the past week. #stfc"
It's like Sam Morshead might have been reading this!

Di Canio is Italian. Italians are generally outspoken and don't hold back...

I will read it properly tomorrow. Only then will I make my mind up.
I see the adver have already been on twitter defending their position even before the story has been published.
Sounds ominous to me

I don't like the adver, they always push him into saying controversial things. Obviously to sell more papers, but it is detriment to the club.
