Definitely buffoonary! He was possibly my favourite cricketer ever but since he's retired, he's really tarnished the perception that he was a really normal bloke! Fame chaser now....

Will be an interesting spectacle when he steps into the ring. Reminds me a little of when Dwain Chambers tried and failed to become an American Footballer and a Rugby League player!

Buffoon. The fact it's a 4 x 2 minute round fight says it all. Maloney was on radio saying usually 4x2 fights are for kids who aren't up to scratch.

Hope he gets ko'd, be great to see, but it won't happen. Think his opponent's been carefully selected.

Not great, but I found this: http://cricfree.tv/live/live_boxing_streaming/freddie_flintoff_vs_richard_dawson/1065

Unless I've already missed Flintoff? No idea what time the fights meant to be

Have just seen a replay on You Tube, fair play to Flintoff for getting in to the ring and winning, but as Batch said it was like watching something in the school playground! The shock on Dawson's face said it all when the result was announced!

How was it a surprise? Rounds 1, 3 and 4 were 10-9s for Flintoff, round 2 was Dawsons 10-8. It looked pretty cut and dry to me.
