Myself and Mrs RO are off to London tonight for the weekend, to see the England-South Africa game at Twickers.

Our hotel is actually in Deptford (Travel Lodge Greenwich my arse!!!) and we will be getting there at about 8pm tonight.

Think we are off to Greenwich tomorrow night for a meal but does anyone know if there is any pubs near Deptford DLR that are friendly and will be doing food at 8/9pm tonight?

Hoping some London Reds (Sutton, Otanswell, London Red?) can point me to a decent foody pub  Smiley

A good boozer would do me   Pint      but Mrs RO is more fussy!    Romantic

Only been there once but this place is a good pub, food was decent too. About halfway between Deptford and New Cross so probably a 10 minute walk tops from the DLR

Personally I'd probably get a cab into greenwich village or Blackheath, better choice of pubs there

Two porters and a stout...good brewery.  I think I drank that in the pub (bar thing) near Greenwich park.  Hope the Fellows tomorrow has a good, dark, winter beer on.

Food was great when I went in there a couple of years ago. Would definitely recommend it.
