Good luck to him.  Wasn't with us long, but he did the job he was brought in to do.  A professional.  He'll be one of those players who will be well remembered in years to come.

Thought he might not be up to top end league1 but a decent squad member nonetheless .the new players coming in mean this is not a major loss.

He's only signed for a month and it's not a done deal that he's actually leaving us. I struggle to understand why he would want to go there permanently given their finiancial troubles anyway, wonder if he's had any choice in the matter.

Was under the impression he was carrying an injury as no real sign of him recently so game time with Portsmouth for a month could do him and us a favour. Like him a lot, a good honest professional, hope it works out.

Good luck to him.

Played a big part in pushing us over the line last year.

Nice bloke as well, always had time to stop and say hello to fans, esp the kids.

Yep, love me some Benson. Bit of a shame that. I remember when we signed him, Charlton fans didn't have a bad word to say about him. I'm sure it will be the same this time with Swindon fans.

Would much rather he stayed and we fucked Rooney back off to Brum. I like Benson.

One of the great qualities that you see in the likes of Benson, when players move up from non-league and through the
lower leagues, often as a late developer,is their sheer honest endeavour.Good luck to him in the future.
