He didn't play that much last season and although he had a bit of flair, seemed to flatter to decieve more than deliver.

Although he's playing more than Rooney did, this statement pretty much describes Gary Roberts as well.

I'd rather Rooney than Roberts at the moment. I do womder if he is one of the higher earners though, so we 'gain' more by shipping him out.
