Quick question I have some vague recollection of a defender from the 1980's who may have played for Watford and had some form of head guard thing on his forehead when he played?

I always remember Foster trying desperately to get himself sent off in a game for Brighton just before the cup final - knowing that if he did so he could play in the final due to the way that suspensions were done back in those days. As it turned out he failed and missed the final, which of course Brighton drew 2-2 (.....and Smith must score). He played in the replay, which they lost 4-0 and Foster was subjected to a resounding chorus of "What a difference you have made" from the Man U fans. Cheesy
