Alan Knill, is without a club atm, a fella who can get te best out of Leon Clarke.

For all his faults, PdC has breathed a bit of life into the club, let's just enjoy it while we can.

I assume you realise I was being sarcastic

So where does the buck stop for that then?

Tough question to answer. He chose to sign them but it was always going to take time for some to settle. Some haven't delivered in my opinion. Adam Rooney for a start and Gary Roberts in my opinion has been average.

I'm not saying we have a shit squad at all. In fact the point i'm trying to make is that I think everyone has got a bit carried away in the summer and the first few games of the season and thought we were a very good team who would finish top 2. In reality we are just a good team who may or may not make the top 6.

I think PDC gets way too much stick when he says something that people don't want to hear. When we win though everyone loves him which is quite amusing. It's normally the same people slagging him off and then praising him the next week.

As has been mentioned his win % tells the story. I think people read too much into the whole PDC circus sometimes.

When Wilson got the sack with a side who made the play offs the season before and eventually relegated the following season, where did the buck stop?

I'm just sick of him slating everyone, especially the players immediately after the game, who benefits, surely not the players.

I'm not a Di Canio hater yet, but wouldn't give two fucks if he left of his own accord or pushed.

A bit of a difference though isn't there? Wilson had us bottom in the new year. Paolo has us in 7th with over a quarter of the season gone. You can't really say the buck stops with him as he hasn't exactly had a disastrous start to the season. In fact it's been quite the opposite.

Clearly the players do benefit from his rants. Look at the Stevenage game the other week. He's had massive rants at players before and they have responded. Flint is a good example of that.

It's your last comment that I don't understand. You're telling me you wouldn't care if we lost a manager with his record? Come off it. We'll end up with another manager from the usual list of candidates. If he left tomorrow we'd get Phil Brown or someone. No thanks.

He was always going to divide opinion when he arrived but for me there is only one thing that matters and that's results. It's a results business after all.

Paolo has admited many times this season and last that he got things wrong...as far as i am aware this is the first time he has said that he feels Saturdays debacle was down to the players alone.
Players like Roberts and Williams need to buck up and quick.......they have bags of ability and need to find a higher gear.

I'm sure Mario Balotelli could lend PDC one of his T shirts.

Surprised nobody has mentioned pdc taking the credit for wins when he only referred to himself. I did this and I did that.

Has this ever actually happened?

Yeah, he was very self-congratulatory (after Stevenage, I think it was?). Soundbytes like "I got us this win, I am a top manager".

Fair enough, I didn't read any of the post match. I've taken to not reading everything he says now but he has also been known to heap praise on the players.
I still think privately he would have given them a good pat on the back after that one.

Oh yeah, you'd think so... we've no idea how he treats the players privately (and ignoring Caddis and Kerrouche, we've not had any dissenters thus far!)

PDC does praise himself at times. But to suggest that he takes all the credit without praising his players is simply just not true.
