Why do people jump in front of trains? Are there not better ways to kill yourself?

if I was you mate, I would get down the station now and get on the first train there
Doesn't it normally take an hour or so to clear the line? So it should be running more smoothly later on.

I think I've just seen the King of Tonga on the magic roundabout. Does he drive a Nissan Sunny with a crown on the dash?

Just done that journey, via Didcot too, all clear and took the usual time.
The way in this morning was a flipping' nightmare though.

has anybody heard any whispers about who is in and who is out for the team tonight?? Its pointless guessing as you're likely to end up looking rather silly

I was at Heathrow two hours ago fola, could've given you a lift. From what they said on t'radio, the trains stopped from about 2pm. Usually takes a few hours for the authorities to scrape 'em up. You might make it.

Just had word from friend at Paddington that all trains out of London to Swindon delayed or cancelled after someone put themselves in front of a train at Ealing Broadway. And I'm about to change trains at Reading. Hmm.
Blimey...there was another one at Cholsey this morning on the same line.

Cheers everyone for the info. I don't have a car so my only option is the train to be honest.. I'm gonna try and catch either the half 5 or 6 o'clock from Paddington so I'm hoping the problems are sorted by then...
I'm on 1730 which left 15 minutes late. First train out for some time so packed to the rafters. At least I should now easily make kick off. 3 bottles of Bulmers Pear for a fiver from Whistlestop has relieved the stress of maybe not getting there in time!
