A sad day.

312 News In Brief was the only way for an out-of-towner like myself to get Swindon news for a fairly substantial period of my life.

I hate to think how many hours I sat staring at 337 Vidiprinter to update.  The yoof of today have it easy with there Stelling Soccer Saturday's

I remember 'watching' most of our premiership scores happening on ceefax! The 7-1 defeat at st james park was an 'un'fond memory!

I use the digital equivalent far more regularly than the BBC sport website.

Oracle, Teletext, Ceefax. I fear even digitext is doomed Sad

Ah yes, I remember watching town on ceefax in the late 80's! Waiting for page 3/3 to load, to see if we'd hung on was pure agony.

Shit, so do I. Funny when you think about it but I was actually enthralled.

Just shows, everything changes whilst nothing really changes at all.

Waiting for ages whilst it hung on page 2 of 3, only for it to go straight to page 1 again.  Crash
