We dont wait.  We take action and we take it now.

I vote for me to start the thread on Tuesday.  I'm sorry SSWS but I am sure you will understand!

?

This does it for me....had my doubts at the start of the season, but although he's not pulling up any trees, posting pictures of manatees, is like wheeling Fraser Digby out for a half-time entertainment.

I almost just fell off my seat. Things can't be that bad.

They are that bad. Look at today's debacle from SWS. It's not a call I made lightly, but no-one else is putting their hand up. Let's get a bit of stability. Reg is our man.

I will put my hat in the ring until January as a caretaker until we can put a proper vote to the members for a permanent replacement. To make matters fair i will not put my hat in for the permanent  position ( unless if i am given the position & i remain in the 90% win ratio or other members think i am worthy ( not much chance of that though ) ).

I would happily take this role on, I feel the current matchday threader has been off the boil since The JPT final in March.

I think its only fair he is allowed to to concentrate on the commercial side of things, such as cider and Tesco Value Fish Fingers. I offer the following on the football side of things -

Consistency - I am always present at Midnight, my OCD rarely allows me to bed down before 12.47am, so a guaranteed thread, with predicted score, scorers and attendance will be in place within minutes of the match day beginning at midnight. This was a vital element of last years success.

Value For Money - I will not seek or accept a knighthood at any point and in the case of 3 straight defeats i would offer my resignation to the board of the TEF, and if deemed necessary, the cat o nine tails can be unleashed.

Background - Sometime back in the 80's my brother had a trial with Port Vale who were League 1/Division 3 at the time, i also started a matchday thread on Thisis back in the Andy King days  Embarrassed But we did win

Paul The Octopus? - Well, we have Sid The Stick Insect. I will write the names of Swindon Town and the opposition and see which team Sid wanders towards, this will make us a fortune on betting

Impartial Predicitions - I will always predict what i think the score will be, removing the STFc rose tinted specs, for example, I think we will beat Villa 6-1

If accepted for this prestigious position I will dump Lizzy Birdsworth and change the avatar to something more fitting of a person in such a prestigious position.

His CV is good, but I'd rather stick with the devil we know at the moment. Hopefully he can lead us through these lean times

If Suggs MBE (Might Bollocks-up Everything) is to be replaced, personally I think it should be put to a vote as to the substitution...

We need nominees first.

I love the word nominees. It's a funny word. (Nommy-knees).

Such kindness Flashheart.

I also forget to mention that i attended the 1999 Play Off Final between Man City and The Pikies at the old Wembley with my City supporting sister, City won and got promoted to the championship, this is an obvious sign of things to come.
