Although not to the same extent, I'm sure a few on here have had hassle from previous STFC employees.

Back in the days of Lou Macari, the only way to air views was through the sports letter section of the Adver. I had cause to comment on a few things going on at CG and one of them was the strange situation of the crowd figures quoted being lower than appeared to anyone who was a regular supporter at the time. Lo and behold one tuesday night I had a knock on my door and there was the club secretary wishing to have a word with me. We had a chat about the various points I had raised but it was patently obvious he was more interested in the crowd figures I had mentioned and was trying to find out if I had any "inside" information. As I had nothing of the sort, and was just pointing out what other people were saying as well he went away somewhat mollified.

A couple of weeks later in the programme, the Chairman's column made reference to my letter and the scurrilous allegations which were unfounded and could result in further action being taken.

We all know what happened eventually!

If reported accurately, the actions of the LFC Director (Jen Chang) are fairly shocking.  But I find it quite difficult to feel sorry for the Twitter user.  He was way out of his depth.  Hid behind a pseudonym, felt he was invincible and, ultimately, realised that he wasn't...and got his fingers badly burned.  He'll know better next time.

Spot on.

If you're going to big it up on Twitter, using a false identity, claiming to be in the know and then basque in the glory of fooling so many people and getting lots of followers....then you can't really complain if it suddenly turns to shit.

Oh come on, the guy was fooling around. I was aware of some of his tweets, it was blatantly obvious that it was just somebody on a wind up.

You're really saying that hiring private investigators and threatening to ruin his life is ok?

Meh...It's a bit of an OTT reaction but he made himself a target, he's only got himself to blame.
