Walk along the corridor, knock on Jezza's door and have a chat.

It isn't difficult really

I am sure he was given a transfer kitty at the start of the season that he signed up to. He has spent it.

I realise this has come about by having to pay more than initially budgeted for for Collins and Troy A-H, but really he seems to have been backed by the board in a way that most managers in the league would envy.

I think he's just using this a symptom of a deeper malaise - a cry for help. The real problem is that when he said in the rambleologue on Saturday "I am a very good manager, but I am not God" the interviewer should have contradicted him and said "Oh, but no Paolo, you ARE God". So now he's starting to doubt everything he thought he knew about himself and the promises he thought he'd built his world on. He just needs a little love, an arm around the shoulder, another £500k to spend and a 60ft high marble and gold statue of himself in laurel wreaths in the town centre. Then it'll all blow over.

It was slightly tongue in cheek.

That ain't going to happen though is it...we're on frog and scorpion territory here. I do have concerns though that when PDC eventually does leave us as manager it isn't going to be a happy parting of ways...

So, is he actually saying that if he doesn't deliver on promotion this season it isn't his fault but the pesky transfer embargo?

The real problem is that for every gem PdC brings into the club there are 5 turds as well

I couldn't give a toss how he leaves. Once he's gone, he's gone and there'll be a new manager coming in.

All I do care about is that when he does leave, he leaves us in good shape.
