More rebranding - London Orient?

Leyton Orient owner Barry Hearn plans to change the club's name to London Orient if its bid to ground-share the Olympic Stadium with West Ham succeeds.

He said changing the League One club's name would be part of a "rebranding exercise" to link it with the city.

"When you are looking for a new future, you need a new title," Hearn told BBC Sport.

Wonder whether the fans are pleased about this one..?

Hearn says season tickets to U-18s will be free.  Same for anyone in the armed forces.  Also claims any family moving into the area will get a free family season ticket.

Rebranding with London as part of your name is a pretty good move, could pay dividends financially even if they don't move to the Olympic stadium. Wouldn't bother me personally, they're in London and the club isn't being moved far. Still the same club.

True but would take some getting used to for their fans. I can remember when Swindon bid for city status, Swindon City FC just doesn't sound the same!

I've always thought it a bit odd that none of both London and Edinburgh's league clubs have either city name in their title, respectively I mean, don't expect to see London Hibernian, or Edinburgh Arsenal.

But Swansea Town now seems odd...
