I waited all game to see Rose smacked in the face with a burger and it never happened. To rub salt into the wound he goes and scores what proved to be the winner. I think thefore it is your fault we lost Tans. |

But the fans who boo are expressing their opinion on the season so far. They're expressing their opinion on the last 90 minutes and tonight, it was utterly pathetic.
I don't expect us to win every game, far from it. But you do expect a bit of effort.
a lack of effort is the only time booing is justified imo. With the manager we have that wouldn't be tolerated anyway. last night it just didn't happen for the side.it happens to every team. |

Think I may have booed under Iffy, but that's about it. And that was because the bloke was clueless and there seemed to be no effort idea or urgency in our play that season.

There were only the odd boos, it wasn't that loud really. It was only audible because there was little clapping to start with and the only a handful of away fans there to celebrate.
I can understand fans who only attend home games over reacting, they have been spoilt over the last 12 months.

Surely if our manager is allowed to show his displeasure at a poor performance then we the fans have a right to do so when paying money to watch such a poor showing. Frustrating after we seem to have just got going this season.

Think the issue is fans never used to boo their team unless the team was under performing week in week out. Nowadays they boo after 1 defeat (which followed 3 wins in Swindon's case). This would never have happened years ago, so you have a generational difference going on here. Think some want to see a performance everytime they turn up, whereas most people realise this isn't going to happen in sport.

Agree with that Janaage. It's for similar reasons that managers are sacked without being given a fair chance when things are not going well. Fans power is a lot more influential than it used to be.

I don’t see why it’s acceptable to boo after 3 poor performances and not 1? Personally I think booing is an over-reaction but I couldn’t really care either way, it’s not like the whole ground was doing it.
If players react so strongly to crowd noise, why is there very little atmosphere inside the ground?
You’ll get people getting on their high horse about a few pockets of boos which lasted for less than 10 seconds and these very same people will probably just watch the game in entirety and perhaps muster a clap every now and then. These fans probably motivate the players as much as the boo boys.

Heres one for you then, i cant say that i have shouted abuse at any of our players since that cunt Pru**on, but bessone is getting close. However there were two guys to the left of me in the town end last night who were constantly f'ing and blinding at our players throughout the second half but they didnt 'boo' at the end. Whats worse? I personally think that the abuse is worse. discuss. FYI the two guys, well  |
