Sorry if it has already been discussed but was Bostock injured? He has barely been involved since we have loaned him.

Pretty sure he's been fit, he's just very awkward to accommodate. Extremely talented footballer, but between a rock and a hard place in that, due to the hard work of our forwards we're in a situation where 4-5-1 with Bostock behind the striker seems somehow both less defensive and less attacking than our usual 4-4-2, because in Williams and Collins we have 2 strikers that probably have as much a defensive impact chasing down the defenders and goalkeeper and forcing them into errors as the rest of our midfield, and then we also have two strikers on the pitch to put the ball in the net when we've won it  back. If you are going to play him, it is always going to have to be either in the place of a striker, which seems less attacking, or on the wing, where he's out of position and where we have quality anyway. Having said all that, after feeling so excited when i found out we'd signed him, it seems a total waste not to see him play. In the brief glimpse when he came on against Oxford he looked by far the best player on the field (without much competition admittedly).

In terms of the game tonight, i really think this is going to be much tougher than come people are predicting. Their loan signings are quality, one of our strikers will need to hunt down Craig Eastmond to stop him getting on the ball and dictating play from centre mid, sanchez watt is quick and tricky on the wing (hope thompson is back tonight), and Ibehre scored two last week. Added to some already decent players in that squad, new manager and enthusiasm, if Swindon aren't on their game tonight we'll be punished. However, 4-4-3 suits us to play against, so if we get it down the wings to Ritchie and Roberts and deliver to Willo +1 we should be able to get goals.

We should win this comfortably, if we put in the hard work. Another Leyton Orient performance and we'll lose.

I'll go for 3-1.

Looking forward to giving Rosie dogs abuse.

I hope they're not playing 4-4-3 unless that means they're not having a goalkeeper.

Tell me you don't write that out character by character every game.

Their keeper has recovered from dislocating a finger at the weekend, Just need Ritchie and co to test the said finger out with some bullet shots  Smiley

Taking in my first match of the season tonight, can't wait!

Think it'll be a toughy. Can remember Ibehre causing us lots of trouble when we played Franchise a few seasons ago.

Reckon we'll take them 2-1 tough.

I wouldn't say we have to fear him. He didn't look all that for Franchise and despite scoring 2, benefitted from a hideous blunder from the Pools defence for one of them.

On the Col U forums they are very confident in beating us as they think they have turned the corner this season.

They are basing a lot of their own confidence on our over confidence and almost all of them are moaning about the cost to get in, now that makes a refreshing change doesn't it.

Doesn't make a lot of difference they never bring more than about 150 to a game at the CG anyway, they have one of the poorest away followings in this league, I would be surprised if we get much over 7,100 tonight.

I think they do very well to get the crowds they do, with Ipswich just up the road.  If they bring any more than 100 tonight, I'd be surprised.
