Lovely little town, Shrewsbury. Lived in the area for a while as a kid. Beautiful, unspoiled county as well (except the Telford bit.)

I loved their old ground, not so much the new stadium...

That's probably the best route. You go through Kidderminster, but avoid Birmingham/Wolverhampton. I know which I'd choose.

Yes they did but when you come to Swindon we'll beat the shit out of you for £10
Seeing as there has been a poor harvest you'll struggle to get enough cash to make the trip let alone the entrance fee and car parking charges.
You'll still be league two next season as well.
Spot the deliberate mistake. Mind you you could substitute the "still" for "you'll be" or you you'll still be in league one when we're in the championship.

Last time I remember going there was when they were at Gay Meadow and Kammy smacked Jim Melrose. The only other thing I remember is 'Chicken George' Lawrence (I think) cutting in from the left wing and scoring a screamer in the top left corner of the net, which was right in front of my face. It was one of those that was in the moment he lashed it. We lost 2-1

Victor Kasule was a brilliant tricky little winger never settled in England and played most of his games in chilly jocko land.

I went last season so not bothered much about this.
There is a pub with a chippy next to it but it was being refurbed last year so I parked in that hotel on the roundabout but they ran out of real beer early doors.

He was on their left, so our right. Must have been Hockaday that he was roasting.
