I read the Scousers have been giving all sorts of abuse via Twitter. He overcame cancer to re-take up refereeing. He is probably wondering why he bothered this morning.
Some humans really are worthless pieces of shit!
Of course I would like to add there is the very real possibility, that none of this was the fault of Liverpool fans or any associated with LFC. It could well have been the suns fault!

There was a tweet circulating from a pool fan, wishing death on him and his family, also chants of "you're not fit to referee" were heared around the ground. |

Any referee, no matter how good he is, knows he will take a lot of shit throughout his career, some deserved, some not.
This guy beat cancer and went back to doing what he wanted to do. Good for him. I'm pretty sure some vile cunts on twitter and a few terrace songs won't bother him in the slightest.

It is entirely appropriate to verbally abuse the referee, opposition & Oxford United FC at every single game of football.
However, once you leave the ground you need to leave all of that behind.
However, Im not do sure how that works for people who tweet abuse during the game.
