Hillsborough has not been and will notebook the only cover up conducted by the police. They form an orderlyqueue with countless other public offices hiding behind officialdom. Although it has to be said, try getting a lawyer to sue another one or a doctor giving evidence against another.
The old saying that shit only travels downhill is so so true. The higher up the greasy pole you are the less shit sticks cause you can always pass it down. The military is another good example.

And.....kept his pension.....what a fucking joke this Country is.... So you think that anyone who is sacked should automatically lose all pension benefits they've built up whilst in the job?

Depends on the position and the crime. Mostly public sector I would say. A Copper belting somebody and causing the bloke to die.....equals...lose your job and your pension.

If your sacked for gross misconduct then yes you should lose all of the benefits that go with your job that you have paid for. If he has paid into a pension scheme then it is difficult for them to take it off of him, but as of a couple of years ago then the police didn't have to pay into the pension scheme it was a pure benefit.

The pension is his money though.
You can't take money from people that's rightfully theirs, unless it is stipulated in the law (such as fines). To do so would be theft.

Had he been convicted then he would have lost his pension... '12 good men and true' decided he wasn't guilty so where does the blame lie?...

Here's my answer.... The blame?.....With the country and it's fucking wanky laws which allow a cunt like this with previous to enjoy a pension for service ,paid by the public purse. Hope you enjoy my answer.....are you plod?
