I like the way Hodgson seems to be trying to get England to play, and also think the formation looks effective.
Through the course of the qualifying tournament the regular players will get more familiar with their expected roles. It still looked a bit disjointed last night, but overall I thought we played well.

Thought we looked much better when we had a front three of Welbeck, Sturridge and Defoe. All three seem very comfortable with the ball at their feet, which is not exactly an English trait.

Im sort of over the idea of England being the best team in the world and we're gonna win it. I think its called growing up.
So I actually like the way Hodgson is trying to make us play football on the floor and introducing a younger generation of players. I know we'll still probably only get to the quarter finals if we're lucky but Im now resigned to and happy with that.
