Having seen the goal now I'd blame flint more than Ward. The slating of the bloke after 1 game is pathetic.

FFS isn't it bad enough everyone criticising his football without you starting in on his skating as well? Let's see if his skating improves over the course of the season before we start branding it "pathetic"

His technique was all wrong, tried to hard to run in them when it's all about pushing and gliding.

You clearly didn't see the same game that I watched last night then? He looked like a Sunday League defender who was just starting up again after missing two years of Football.

I am convinced that Comazzi bet on himself getting sent off against Rotherham.

I was at the game & he was poor he couldn't even keep a clearance in play. It is a bit to soon to judge on the 1 appearance, but as debuts go it ranks along Adi Viveash's.

Apart from Adi's debut lasted 20 mins before he was subbed

Ah, fuck it, I'll get dog's abuse for this, but Ward did fine in the first half, he did the ugly stuff well. Yes, he got worse during the second half, but he wasn't that bad. He's hardly Richard Dryden.
