Just off topic can you take chips into the ground bought from the van outside the ground? Was gonna treat myself tonight.

I've had no problems taking food from outside into the ground, the only places where its been an issue has been at Wmbley and Shrewsbury.

Yes you can, my mates lads take their chips in they bought from the chippy across the road, much better value than the 10 chips you get in a cone inside the ground.

You're allowed chips, but no meat products.

Weren't the chips cold by the time you got from the van to Wembley or Shrewsbury?

They were cold at Shrewsbury, but the steward at wembley wanted me decant my four bottles of coke, I told to sod off as they were for the journey home and that it was bloody hot, and I wasn't selling a kidney to pay for an overpriced drink here or he could pay for my replacement. There was nothing he could do and just waived me through.

A truly inspirational account of the underdog sticking it to the man.

The man could have ruined the underdog's day by refusing him entry if he refused to comply but that wouldn't make such a good story so i'll keep quiet.

This is true, I was very nice and polite to the guy I've found ranting, raving and kicking off gets you nothing, I told him that I had driven up from Falmouth and they were for the trip back. I said to him if he wanted to confiscate them then he could as long as I could pick them up after the match, he said that it would be too much trouble. So he let me keep.

I suspect he was being disingenuous Samdy.

Indeed I was. I'm from walcot and I'm tight arse, I hate paying more stuff when you can get the same thing cheaper from somewhere else.

It was the microwave that pissed them off!
