"Paolo Di Canio chose not to hold his usual pre-match press call today. No reason given. Matt Ritchie and James Collins spoke to media."

Doesn't bother me - much rather that than him having to field silly questions about Caddis which will then get misquoted across the various media, and thus fuel wild speculation.

Tbh Di Canio's antics make me a little nervous. It's fine with a winning team but given the inevitable bad patch we'll experience during the season it's probably best not to piss your local media off

Good, hopefully he is learning to stop spouting crap to the media.

He goes from one extreme timescales another; tell them everything they want to know then nothing Grin

I don't think he is often misquoted.

Clearly he does a hell of a lot right of things right as manager, but maintaining some sort of decorum in front of the press is not one of them.

This doesn't worry me any more.  Just looks as if the press have ticked him off to such a degree that he's pretending they don't exist for a week or two, or however long he feels like ignoring them for.  I know I'm speculating...but if I'm right, it's actually quite a good way to get your point across.

I think he's probably just too busy watching the cricket.

He's a wise man!  Saffer still strong favourites but good to see England making a fight of this!

Playing his interview and printing his words aint the medias fault

"Manager Paolo Di Canio spoke to STFC Player ahead of Tuesday night's home clash with Crawley Town. See the full interview shortly #STFC"

Seems he's just refusing to speak to the adver and BBC Wilts.

Maybe he's pissed at how they've covered the who Caddis saga?

I would say that is a fair assumption of the situation  he seems really pissed off at the way the BBC have handled this and are creating a divide between the supporters they are certainly doing a good job of breeding negative vibes on thisis

If i remember correctly, Sir Alex wouldn't talk to certain media networks at one point.  Didn't do him any harm!!
