The win-a-pro blokey is a RB and has already made his debut, wonder if he might get a chance if Caddis remains out of the picture.

The fatbasher posse are now chillaxing in the premier inn @ stockton west.

We could have lost this based on the first half. We should have won it based on the second half.

The ref was out of his depth/comfort zone. He and his assistants as stated gave things they should have not to both teams.

Typical first game if you ask me.

McEverley needs to sharpen up his act, like the Palace game his crossing was wayward.

Collins you twat, at least hit the target, that was inexcusable.

I' m glad i only had the missus and son whining for half an hour on the way back to the hotel. Imagine a six hour coach trip with Paolo on the way back!!!!

Chance to make amends on Tuesday.

Assume you mean Miller or did Collins miss a decent chance as well?

Upon reflection we really wasn't that bad today. Some of our passing in the 1st half was a little wayward, Joe Devera springs to mind. McEveley looked sluggish at times. Thought Collins looked a threat when he came on.

Good turn out from Town fans today, and full credit to the 5 chaps who turned up dressed up as old women, really was a long journey, hopefully one we dont have to do again too soon

Think that emphasises just how poor the commentary was.

I am going to keep going on and on about the commentary because it really was that poor. Woeful effort.

HMS Trincomalee and Paolo's tan, for actual cunting sake.

I do agree with that. A couple of other examples - Going on about the letters on the back of Troy's shirt - yes, we know, he has a long name!! (I think you may even have commented on that at the time). And another - with 1 minute of stoppage time left - Chris Wise, "And lets have look at some of the other scores"  - errr no, let's 'have a look at the other scores' in 1 minute's time when our game has finished, you daft cunt!

On the new football league show opening sequence, there's a nice little clip of Hoddle celebrating his Wembley goal. A bit random, but I like it.

Perhaps PDC's reluctance to talk to the press is due to how they reported the whole Caddis saga; front page spreads, inaccurate quotes etc, maybe he feels they're partly to blame for all the speculation?

I dont give a fuck that PDC chose not to do a press call today. He's entitled to be pissed off with the performance, the missed penalty etc. He's not the first manager to decline to talk to the press after a match - though it is an arrogant gesture over accepted protocol.

I suspect he was more pissed off that BBC WS aired the 2-stage interview with Caddis though, rather than anything to do with todays match, and that really fucking pisses me off.

How the Caddis saga was ever allowed to go public in the first place is completely beyond belief.

From a business perspective, Caddis is a very valuable asset.

Putting aside whatever we know or dont know about why the falling out took place, he is a 'first name on the teamsheet' player who was vital to us last season. He was the team captain ffs.

Why the fuck would anyone deliberately humiliate their captain / valuable asset by stripping him of the captains armband, in front of 24 other players during a fucking team meeting, then publicly question his personal life and lack of commitment to the cause by mentioning his Mrs and his new born baby etc?

Actions like that are just suicidal on so many levels.

Caddis had the balls to stand up to PDC in public today, and I applaud him for doing so. He was calm, considered and rational - unlike his boss.

I suspect more than a few of the first team squad are backing Caddis, albeit in secrecy, for the moment.

Tend to agree with the last post. I thought Cadds was quite succinct in is interview.

This Caddis and Di Canio problem is a fucking mess and it needs sorting NOW!!! Even if it takes Wray to get them into a room together and sort it as I can't see Wray being happy with Di Canio if he is forced to sell Caddis before the transfer window shuts and we will have to find a replacement pronto.

Di Canio may be the boss and he has his way which have worked so far but he seriously needs to go on some man management courses because this is in danger of causing some serious problems at this club.

It should have been sorted one way or another last week, it continues to drag on and on........

PDC's comments were from a recorded interview that we all saw, the press reported accurately exactly what he said - he can have no complaints about that.

PDC isn't going to change. This is the offset to the meticulous preparation, the obsessive passion, the world class coaching and all those wins we have had since he arrived. There's no middle ground and Wray and the Board know that. The bigger picture is the important bit in all this. He gets results. He doesn't compromise, apologize or practice pastoral care. He is what he is. Sure we can (and should) pipe up when we think he overdoes it, but the way I look at it is we won't have him here for that long, and we'll miss him when he's gone.

His methods work. The players are starting to realize that if you want to play for us the result is twofold. Firstly, you'll get your balls busted if you don't comply. And secondly, you'll get success. Well worth it in my humble.

If Caddis had been playing we would have probably got 3 points

Sometimes you have to cut crucial members of the squad a bit of slack

On the other hand we could have lost, due to Paul's fitness problem
