Perhaps PDC's reluctance to talk to the press is due to how they reported the whole Caddis saga; front page spreads, inaccurate quotes etc, maybe he feels they're partly to blame for all the speculation?
I dont give a fuck that PDC chose not to do a press call today. He's entitled to be pissed off with the performance, the missed penalty etc. He's not the first manager to decline to talk to the press after a match - though it is an arrogant gesture over accepted protocol.
I suspect he was more pissed off that BBC WS aired the 2-stage interview with Caddis though, rather than anything to do with todays match, and that really fucking pisses me off.
How the Caddis saga was ever allowed to go public in the first place is completely beyond belief.
From a business perspective, Caddis is a very valuable asset.
Putting aside whatever we know or dont know about why the falling out took place, he is a 'first name on the teamsheet' player who was vital to us last season. He was the team captain ffs.
Why the fuck would anyone deliberately humiliate their captain / valuable asset by stripping him of the captains armband, in front of 24 other players during a fucking team meeting, then publicly question his personal life and lack of commitment to the cause by mentioning his Mrs and his new born baby etc?
Actions like that are just suicidal on so many levels.
Caddis had the balls to stand up to PDC in public today, and I applaud him for doing so. He was calm, considered and rational - unlike his boss.
I suspect more than a few of the first team squad are backing Caddis, albeit in secrecy, for the moment.
