Cracking news, anyone got any speculative guesses as to who it may be?
Seems King thinks he's the next big thing, presume it's a Premiership youngster.
Really hope we can take a sniff at Junior Lewis. We must be in with a punt after two spells in the past and he's looking to move back down Saaarf.
Would be ideal to sit in that holding role behingd Migs & Whalley and can drop back into defence to tidy up those little mistakes. Unspectacular but he would fit the bill and suit the passing style of play.

I reckon it'll be a non-league player as "He is not a player that fans will know about".

King is doing his usual of bigging it up, before saying that a host of other clubs are interested......which so far this pre season tends to mean they go elsewhere.
I'd rather he just announced the deal when its done a la Nicolau.
On RS Hadwin says the experienced international is being looked at as a part time deal, which seems a bit weird.

Part time deal? He'll only play for us on Monday, Thursday and Fridays. Maybe he's got kids to look after or something.

Maybe similar to what Ian Rush did when he joined Leeds, only training a couple of times a week? Hope not as he was a fat lot of good that season and then retired. Whits if it's Daniel Amokachi I'll be over the moon, it's almost in the same league as two of my all time favourites Valderama and Faustino Asprillia. I think he's a long time since retired now sadly. Steve Lomas?

Horlock? Still at least if we get Amokachi on a free we can sell him for a mil in a months time like I did on CM many years ago.

Never heard of Amokachi. Perhaps he was good before my time?! Or am I just being thick?
Not to say that he is a bad player btw!

He played for Everton circa 1995ish R4E. Striker, never hit the heights for Everton though - definately should have bagged himself an FA Cup final goal too. Everton 1-0 up, not long to go, Schmichael goes up for a corner leaving an open goal which Amokachi fucks up!
