Well this isn't the difficult game that the FGR fan was claiming it would be.
The bravado was a bit misplaced considering their previous friendly results, a 2-1 defeat at Ciren, 0-0 at home to Wycombe and a 5-1 win against Shortwood United (who? ). And as stated above the whole game changes when several changes are made inevitably at half time and beyond.

I have to admit the new ISDN link on STFC Player is about the clearest and least broken up I have ever heard. Shame about the commentary still

It's almost like it works properly! Heaven forbid. Commentary's awful. My mum'd do better. Shame as I like the Washbag.

Mate of yours Steve - sits near us usually. I can't believe you don't recognise his voice.

That's why I asked...he's trying to be a posh on the radio! Good old boy. You good? Provided I know who you are?!

To give Forest Green's Eddie Ashodi his real name...
Edward Abdullai Mobalaji Olatunji Afo "Eddie" Oshodi
And there we were thinking Troy's name was expensive to get printed!!

I quite like the commentary, I think they're doing a good job. The only things..... a) They should turn off the mics at half time while discussing how they thought that went. b) Their listening audience is probably made up of 99% of Swindon Town fans, so their is no need to mention the background of the players with the club, who won the keepy up competition etc.

Yea. It's Strugs. They're both doing it for free, and Neil had to bring his own ISDN kit too, don't know where the supposed £40 came from! Don't know about posh, but he's certainly sounding a lot more restrained than he usually does at games.

He'd have to be...otherwise there'd be no need for a mic...on or off!
