I'm working on a little project for which I could do with a database of English and Scottish player records. At minimum I need the dates they were playing for each club, though dates of birth / death and any other info would be good.

I've found a few books which contain the info but will involve a lot more work. Anyone got any ideas as to where I could get the info in a database, or Excel or any computer format?
