Quite self explanatory

Are any of them chippable to play copied games? If so, are the mod chips safe to use?

Cheers

I tend to default to the PS3, as I have both the Xbox and the PS3, but that's only because I have less games for the XBox. The XBox does have Trials HD and Trials Evolution, the greatest game ever made though.

I know nothing of chipping.

Has to be Xbox, chipping means no online play though.

Asides from not being able to play other people, will I be missing out on much if I can't play online? Are the games all just as good to play 1 player?

I'm not likely to pay much online anyway, errrm, so maybe I've just answered my own question?

They're all chippable, solder or solderless chips are available all over the internet.

PS3 online is free, xbox is £40 odd a year. PS3 pads are nicer to use. PS3 is much more reliable. PS3 games are slightly cheaper.

The xbox is easy enough to do yourself but will set you back about £30 - £40 quid for the necessary pc kit (you need a new burner for the latest gd3 format games).

Its also relatively live safe providing you keep up to date (usually theres a large annual update).
