Just been watching the extra time of Brum v Chelsea in the Womens FA Cup and while the skill factor is more akin to watching 22 Shaun Closes it is quite entertaining.

More so when Chelsea went ahead and the gal who scored sportingly pulled her shirt over her head.

It's just when the commentator says 'Coming from behind', well, you know, the mind starts to wander . . .

I think the Ozzie sport minister once said something along the lines of rating women's football somewhere just below poking zoo animals with sticks.

I just can't get interested in it myself.

The short(ish) Black girl playing for Brum was fairly mobile and could play a bit. Apart from her, the rest were shit. Goalkeeping was fucking laughable.

Honestly think most pub sides would play them off the park

One or two were dooable, but most of them look like muff crunchers as has been pointed out already.

I really cant understand the increase in popularity of woman's football to the extent that Hope Powell is now regarded as some sort of authority on football-its just fucking laughable.

there was the odd decent player out there yesterday, but most of em couldn't even see a pass let alone make one. Their reading of the game in the most was poor. They take too many touches too which shows the standard up too.

She was linked with the Gillingham job for a time, which was amusing.

You do wonder if a League club will give her a job just for the publicity alone.

She'd probably have more idea than Hart - not that that's setting the bar high!

I'm sure some time back Udinese, or perhaps Parma, were actually talking of signing a female. I think she was Swedish. Many regarded it as an obvious publicity stunt by the club's chairman. Clearly it was.

Was a series called 'The Manageress' in the late 80's starring that one from the coffee ads. Did an episode filmed at the County Ground.
