Whilst having a tour of the Ricoh today they guy told me one of our strikers was up here today having talks. They do have an embargo atm but Cov still saw him. He didn't know his name. Any ideas who it might've been?

If Kerrouche signs for Coventry then hes batting way above his average.

I can't see it, and as stated above Coventry are currently and for the foreseeable future in a transfer embargo.

This should answer your question Mr Batch.

Its a strange situation when you've won the league and news like this comes but rather than worrying about losing a striker, it doesnt seem a problem.  The only one of our strikers Id be bothered about losing is Benson really and even that wouldn't be that much of a wrench.

I find it hard to get used to my feeling where I think, you know what, if we lose one, we'll get better replacements.  That's just not the Swindon way.

Our club is a selling club always has been, the difference is now, the current board have a strategy as opposed to taking the first offer that comes in.

In fact, pretty much 88 of the 92 clubs are selling clubs, bar City, United, Chelsea and possibly either Liverpool or Tottenham.

As long as we sell our players for a good price and get suitable replacements, then Im happy.

I see Barnsley put in a bid for Greer.

Bodin?

If any of this is true then you'd expect Bodin to be knee-deep in Play-Off related stuff at the moment.

With a club that he doesn't have a contract with.  Important match coming up yes, but what is more important to him, getting Crewe up or the next 3 years of his life?
