Whilst i don't think Rooney is the world class player that many think he is it's plain crazy to suggest he should be left on the bench on Tuesday.
He quite simply a better player than the others strikers in the squad.

Jimmy Greaves was a better player than Geoff Hurst, but Greaves lost his place to injury, Hurst came in and did a job and Jimmy had to sit it out when he became available for the latter stages. Rooney has done nothing to merit preferential treatment. |

Rooney will start just depends who partners him, i would have Carroll personally. Apart from that id leave the team as it was against Sweden and bring walcott/ox on when the Ukrainian get tired around the 65/70 minute mark
