What fucks me off is how Terry always seems to be untouchable. Not a big fan of Ferdinand but feel for him here,he is basically being punished for his brother being abused.

Reports suggest no Ferdinand and no Richards.

Terry will be 35 for the next world cup, probably past it.
We are going to achieve nowt this year, so as many others keep saying, blood a youngster instead.

Spot on Son! Personally I would have left out Lampard, Terry,Ferdinand and Gerrard. Those useless cunt have failed tournament after tournament so wouldnt have given them the chance to fuck at another. Lets start now to build the nucleas of a team that could compete at Euro 2016. It would mean a struggle at this tourno, and I dont see any European team doing that great at the next world cup.

Smalling has already been ruled out of the tournament through injury.
Whoops... i knew Walker was out, but hadn't heard about Smalling

I feel this will be a consolidation period while we start building a side that MAY contend in the next World Cup.
Get the blend of experience and youth in there and get them gelling as a unit. The best teams in the world are not teams of outstanding individuals they are workmanlike teams that have a few skilled players but all play as a team. That is why Brazil so rarely make a great team, always good but rarely great.
We will miss Rooney in the early stages, without him we don't have a lot of creative striking options, Young can turn it on but can also be dire at times. I personally would play Crouch, he has always done the business at international level yet is not an outstanding player by any means but always gives 100%.

I would have named a 27/30 man squad today and used the allotted time to make the big decisions.

What about Micah Richards? Surely he'd get the nod at right back?

If the manager said to both of them "I want to take you both to the finals are you ok with that?" and one of them said no, which would you choose. I'm guessing not the one that spends more time injured than playing, and said I'm not playing if you pick him. Personally I would have left them both out, neither are the future for England so why not go for players that will be around for the next 8-10 years
