The second part of the question was, what is the value of the assets that could be stripped?...
So far 30 mill in player sales. Parachute payments next?? only time will tell, if they pocket the lot. We did sign a player for 400 grand with agents fee of 1.6 mill along with other players we've never seen. Venkys dopped Rovers accountant who were local and who had done the books for over a hundred years. |

Thats the thing, he got a new big contract so if he's sacked he'll be a rich man from being 4th in the coaching order under Sam. But then Venkys will have to look for another patsy. If theyre in it together they might givehim the big payout or move him upstairs or carry on regardless. The last option will look very dodgy tho. It will all come out one day. follow the money. Like i said we dont want sympathy because like yourselves clubs have their ups and downs but we will make a noise when we have 'wrong 'uns' in charge. Dave whelan said ages ago that he doesnt like what he's hearing about his old club. Graham Taylor said he had heard alot of iffy goings on at Ewood. The fans knew it was dodgy when John William and Tom Finn were told that Kean would run the club and wouldnt have to go through them about signings. |

this is all very interesting OSG, i'm sure i'm not alone as a football fan in having complete ignorance about what is 'actually' going on up at ewood - as evidenced by my earlier post.
true or not you definately raise some intriguing ideas - ideas that will maybe look daft to many outsiders - but again i'm sure i'm not alone as a swindon fan in being sympathetic. we ourselves had a very unsavoury character in a very high level position a few years ago.
i'm sure people reading our views of said character from the outside would have baulked at some of our suggestions but there are some very dodgy folks out there involved in football...
