Can anybody help in identifying where this match took place? It is said to be a match in England from the turn of the century. Does anybody recognise the skyline? I think it unlikely that the match itself can be identified.

Thanks Smiley I thought maybe Crystal Palace. Well done, especially Barry for the pic. Fancy trying to double your money (1 rouble btw) and go for the match? Possibly a cup final?

Derby County played there a few times so I'd guess that they are the team in white.

They lost 6-0 to Bury in 1903.

Spurs in 1901?
Bolton in 1904?

Looks like it could be the same set of picture of the 1898 cup final between Nottm Forest and Derby County.
