Tis what makes us British, Dazzza - humour in the face of adversity.

That's the spirit like the days of Dads army, comedy in tragedy.

in case you thought i was too flippant, do you honestly think i mean death on people? as dazza has pointed out humour gets us through life and yes not everyones is the same, but get a grip on yourself, life deals us some nasty blows, believe you me i know more than most on here, but lighten up a bit and maybe just maybe it may seem that little bit better.

I can't understand people who say you shouldn't laugh about whatever....

If you couldn't laugh about tragic stuff this would have never been printed.

http://observer.guardian.co.uk/waronterrorism/story/0,1373,668677,00.html

And that is fucking superb.

Quote
6th October:  American Airlines launches a controversial emergency campaign to persuade Americans to fly again. Posters put up in every major American city show a fearful businessman reading a newspaper over the words 'Get the hell out while you can! Australia from $120.'
Cheesy

Quote
9th October:  US bombs hit a Red Cross emergency centre on the outskirts of Kabul, but the Pentagon refuses to apologise, blaming the Red Cross logo for 'looking like the crosshairs on a viewfinder'. Spokesman Paul Wolfowitz says: 'I'd ask this clearly self-loathing organisation to change its suicidal insignia before they kill us all.' The Red Cross complies immediately and changes its logo to a blue baseball hat.

There is no time limit before you can laugh about stuff, it is part of getting over it.

Right I better finally get some sleep. Good night.

that is not fucking politically correct
neither is calling your coffee black or white apparently (that is actually true)

If you could not tell politically incorrect jokes, we would all have faces like this:

Laughing at one self is fine laughing at someone else misfortune is also fine But Laughing at someones grief is not.

And if i lighten up any more as Mexico suggests then as my wife tells me often i'll blow the Fucking Grid.....

Look ---- dont get me wrong Life is all about laughter but in the right context and moment i just merely suggested that this was not the appropriate time.

And by the way i visit all the forums so am not a member of one in particular.. Just thought Simon would like to know.

Laughter is even funnier in the wrong context and moment.

It's just a fucking joke. Get over it. Ive said the same thing to my mates in jest. It's no different to joking about Dianas death or the tsunami etc its just having a laugh. Unless you're a proper sick cunt nobody actually wishes any harm on anybody.

The same thing happened on thisis not long ago. Someone said they had a dream about Ashton gate burning down and all the city fans burnt to death. It was funny, but everyone went mental because of Bradford and the tube bombings. Fuck me he was having a bit of fun, he didn't actually want city fans burnt to death (not all of them anyway Wink ).

Get sense of humour or just don't come on here if you dont like what you read. Simple.

I think you need to chill out a bit revels59.

I don't think anyone really wishes that loads of people were bombed.

But look to the bright side, it would be easier to take if it was a load of brighton and oxford lot that took the blast.

Besides its all a silly joke. life that is.

Liking the avatar Mr Scott!

I think that it is obvious no harm was meant, and that nobody on here would wish that kind of thing on anybody, not even the scum.

I see no major problem with the joke, as it was not aimed at causing offence to anybody in particular.

I thought it was quite funny and I'm often accused of being a soft, politically correct, sensitive, leftie cunt.
