We probably invested more toward promotion from L2 than any other team (Crawley?). But then, we are/were arguably the biggest team in the league (and by some distance over most).
What were we supposed to do? Limit our investment to be more sporting?
Next season we will be up against other clubs that are of similar size, or larger. I think we (and other clubs) should hold their judgement of how we 'buy the league' until we compare our spending against clubs of a similar size to STFC.

Yeah I've noticed a bit of "SWINDON SWINDON SWINDON" messages.
We won Division Four and I'm thoroughly enjoying it but (two weeks on and) Man City have just scored two injury time goals to win the top flight. That doesn't tend happen.
