Another 'All Our Yesterdays' theme, but I reckon the atmosphere, with a definite undercurrent of violence, that was cracking was Swindon v Millwall in the League Cup quarter final.

Jeez, there was some nasty moments on the concourse at half time!

Fights broke out all over the ground that evening

One of the best for me was when we beat West Ham in a FA Cup replay, 3-1 I think.  West Ham had Bobby Moore, Martin Peters and Geoff Hurst amongst their team!!  Sorry but we are going back to the 60's for that one - I thought the atmosphere for the Crawley home game this season was the best for any home game this time.

Sunderland at home.  First game of the 1992/93 promotion season.  Electric...even before Hoddle scored his piledriver.

Milwall at home in the Cup was great, of course, Jan's goal was magnificent.

I thoroughly enjoyed beating Leeds 3-0 away, too.  The second half was a mixture of a party and disbelief.

Also, Tranmere away in the playoffs, although that may just be the end of the game that has such a special place in the memory.

Great atmosphere although the pitch was bloody miles away from the terrace, can't remember if there was a running track but we were a long way back. Also the Arsenal game in 79. Agree about Crawley this season, really loud and non stop.

I've not been blessed with going to many games with truly great atmospheres.

We were in good form at Bristol City (Darius Henderson brace). Most of, if not all, the best atmospheres have been with Town in the away end.

City away in the game we were relegated, we knew it was coming but totally out sang them regardless. Also think we may of stopped them getting in the playoffs with the draw.
